2006 – 2018 Program Highlights Throughout the years, the Resource Center for Community Action received more than 125,400 requests for food, clothing, toiletries, prescription, financial, housing, furniture, hotel and other basic needed assistance.
RCCA stabilized families by:
Providing families with rent, utilities, transportation and prescriptions
Feeding 1500 households (5,596 people) with food from the food pantry
Providing Thanksgiving food boxes to nearly 1,700 households
Assisting 400 families with rent/mortgage and utilities through the “Fresh Start” program
Assisting 150 families in rent and utilities through the Emergency Assistance Program
RCCA empowered lives by:
Housing referrals
99 percent of participants achieved at least one housing or employment-related goal
85 percent of families exited successfully to permanent housing
RCCA secured futures by:
Providing resume assistance, job search techniques and interview preparation through referrals
Providing life skills training through Women of Worth program
Providing 1+ hours of life coaching to move client towards goals
