The Resource Center for Community Action, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established to strengthening individuals, families, children and communities. It was the vision of our founders that the Resource Center for Community Action would be a premier place with the best people and programs for strengthening individuals, families, and communities so that they could acquire the resources they need to become independent and self-sufficient, thereby breaking the cycle of poverty. Since 2006, RCCA has helped thousands of low-income families with employment, housing referral services; leadership development opportunities; and temporary financial and food assistance.
RCCA carries out its mission by strengthening the caring power of our resource community to assist, support and guide individuals and families to develop a lifelong progression of better growth and success for all people. RCCA helps families in crisis move from hard times to longer-term planning for brighter futures. We believe that brighter futures must be achieved by removing obstacles that block people from achieving their economic and social independence. We know that in order to be self-sufficient one must be aware of their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual self, and have the necessary life-skills to maintain and attain a brighter future..
